    And wow, I have a batting rank now - 128! An average over 40 indicates a good start for my SC career. The rank can only go north from here IMO.

    Gloury's bad form with the bat has been disappointing :(

    He played for Ireland here, as he would have done in the 2007 World Cup had England not selected him right before then (only to leave him out of their own WC squad anyway).

    Yeah, exactly. Worst part was they left him out for Vaughan, who was a decided shunt in one-dayers (especially by then) and was only in the squad because they didn't dare split the captaincy. Which they then did right after the cup.
