I just don't see why you would chuck in some fesh meat to get slaughtered in a poor team and potentially putting back development when you have a proven champion in speirs who isn't going to suffer to bad from a run of bad form. It is not as if the stickies are going to get anything out of the rest of the season, and I don't think trial by fire is the best way for Cricsim. Anyway they are free to select how they please.
Ah that dude... I suppose if they think its the right move thats cool, but I would be inclined to think that 1 decent innings in first is all speirs would need to get his form back on track. He isn't gonna get form that quick in seconds.
