    With all this talk of hitting the sump, I can only assume the batsman is doing some mechanical work on his car mid pitch; maybe an oil change? That will cause havoc with the pitch and may go some distance towards explaining how Alej is moving the ball with no rotations.

    Given all this is going on, I wouldn't rule a stumping from the slips out of the questions though maybe a sumping is more likely.
