A Massive Mistake By The Giants

Considering that negotiations and contract signing have only been going on for 36 hours in Seasonal Rugby there has already been a considerable amount of controversy and drama surrounding some of the going events that have gone.
Without doubt though the biggest story is that of how superstar scrum-half BL Hornby came to be a Spartans player.
You may recall that Colesy was already a vital cog in the engine that drove Giants RFC but in the event of previous squads being erased so was the history that tied the phenomenal half back to the unworthy club.
Some conspiracy theories have developed that Colesy was screwed over just because of the player they had already lined up to replace him with... None other than a certain RG Cribb!
Cribb has not yet commented on the matter and is believed to be soley focused on matters on the field like the professional he is. However, the same can not be said for the player being shoved out of the back door whilst the Cribb deal was completed. Colesy has stated "I can't believe that any team is capable of this, I mean a contract is a contract and if for some reason it is cut short you should at least be able to attempt to negotiate a new one. Not be screwed over by some spinless **** with double standards. When I signed originally I was told that I was the main man, and along with CCG we would run the show. But oh no... as soon as Cribb becomes available the tea spoons come out and the noses get browner.. I couldn't be more pissed with the way I was treated but I'll be sure to get revenge in the future."
Meanwhile Spartans President Marcuss Deane has issued a press statement which reads "In regards to the situation surrounding the now Spartan player BL Hornby I could not care less about the past. All I know is Hornby is 100% committed to the Spartans and that is all that matters. The fact that the Giants allowed him to leave shows a little bit about how the club is run... badly. How you can manage to lose yourself a player of his calibre I will never know but all I know is that it puts us 1 up againts the Giants. We've proven our attraction over them as a club, also we've proven our selves to be a better option than the Chiefs as shown by our signing of Farhat which has been underestimated. I am sure that the aquisition of both Hornby and Farhat will prove to be key in the successful future of the Spartans. Thankyou".

Dramatic stuff then...
I tried to get a quote from CCG and Eds but they were both in a hurry to rush to the bathroom to clean off the egg they had on their faces.

It's a press release.. tongue in cheek.
Nothing serious.. I wrote it to take the piss.
And running the show was meant as Colesy and Eds would be the half backs.. generally the players who run the show on the field.
I didn't want quotes from you as the final sentence was funny...
