lol i honestly dont have the energy to pretend i care about this....

State whatever odds you think is fair...
  2. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

So you think he is 4th or 5th in line, and will need to play like Cameron Smith to be selected. So in your opinion he is absolutely no chance.

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah 20-1 makes no sense. Good try tho.
  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Paul Gallen: Mitchell Pearce deserves another crack, provided his early club form is good.

Jesus Christ you cunts. You've been saying that for 10 years. Move the fuck on from Pearce.
  5. morgieb MC Burridge

He was actually OK in his lone appearance this season. Add that Maloney's gone and....
  6. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Yep should pick Pearce. 100% behind it.
  7. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Did nothing. When his bar is that low i guess it seems okay.
  8. Magic AJ Parker

    Should just play SOO now.

No crowds so doesn't matter where you play it could be out in whoop whoop so far away from any chance of someone who's been overseas or exposed.

    Isolate 2 squads of 25.

Then re-asses the comp in 3 weeks.

surely they can just all play the comp in Sydney for a while. it's only flights that are a problem. what does it matter if an NRL player catches it? they're not going to die, they just have to sit out for 2 weeks. not that hard to rearrange a schedule to accomodate for a team or two needing to take 2 weeks off. and that's worse case scenario, if they test everyday it will probably only be one or two players who need to be stood down. it's only the warriors who are being problematic. they could bring their family over and be with them within 2 weeks if that's such an issue. imagine training for months and then just throwing it all in cause they want to see their family. are they children? plenty of people go without seeing their family for months, and these idiots are making plenty of money and have a club that would help pay for and accomodate their needs. no wonder they're such a shit team, they clearly don't take it seriously.

Sydney is the worst place to be in the country for it by some margin.

The more I think about it, the more I think the Bennett idea is probably the best short term. Get players and staff tested, if everyone is negative head somewhere capable of housing them like Darwin, Townsville, Mackay, Rocky etc.

That sounds harsh for them to have to do it but I'm sure the majority would rather a medium term sojourn over forfeiting vast percentages of their wages.
  11. Lukic L Popovic

Yeah Sydney's fucked. Ticking time bomb. We'll have 100k cases in about 2 weeks because numpty PM won't shut anything down.
  12. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Origin is the only league games for the year that absolutely must have a crowd.
  13. Julian BJ Taylor

Players still based in Sydney doing fucking interviews etc is fucking ridiculous honestly.
  14. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Bennett's idea is the thing to do. Fuck every team off to an area that has a few places that games can be played, have all players and staff tested. Play the comp there in front of no crowds.

Or ask the players if they are happy to suspend the comp and make sure they are aware they won't be paid before they give their answer.
  15. Julian BJ Taylor

I dojn't see how suspending the comp makes sense when things are going to be far worse, and for some time, soon.
  16. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Has there been many cases up north? Seems like the warmer the better.
  17. Magic AJ Parker

The less people from overseas the better.

Working in the city and over the last 2 weeks there has been a fuck load of the Chinese students who were still able to get into Sydney by detouring to other countries such as Thailand, isloating for 14 days and then flying to Sydney.
  18. Lukic L Popovic

They don't give a fuck about self isolation either. Half don't understand and the other half rather kill aussies off anyway lol.
    Toolman likes this.
  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

My problem is the universities helping to facilitate this obviously detrimental practice of circumventing the self-quarantine mandate. Where the fuck do they get off?
  20. Toolman TR Man

Surely they can be held liable? The govt will just bail them out though. Fraser Anning wouldn't have allowed this to happen.
