Gotta agree with a few in here regarding DCE. He just looked awkward and looked like he didn't suit the team at all. Unfortunately he will be retained purely out of loyalty, but he has shown he isn't up to it when the pressure of origin is on. If Cronk isn't fit, Morgan or Hunt must start, with the other on the bench.
The NSW no try is hard to complain about because even though the pass that was called forward definitely wasn't, the pass before that in the same play definitely was, so it wasn't really a fair try. The ultimate in incompetence.
Pearce? Really? I thought it was gonna be Jennings or Woods knowing what the judges go off. Who won it?
Morgan was worthless too. 2 knock-ons, didn't do anything in attack, and I saw him being one of the last walking back into the defensive line a few times...even though he was on the field for 20 mins.
He really needs to thank the defensive efforts of Hodges and Chambers especially. Chambers was a fucking disgrace.
Yeah it was Jennings. Pearce played well and was the best half in the winning team in a high scoring game so I thought he was a chance based on that -- ticked a lot of the boxed judges go for -- even though there were definitely a few others better than him. My big hope was Woods though. And he was paying shitloads too.
Qlders can't complain about the Inglis no try. Even if you want to argue to it wasn't stripped by Morgan, the ball hit Myles on the way down then it hit Gillett's boot and Inglis was in front of both so he was offside.
Yeah I was gonna say, the ball that Jennings throws beforehand is definitely forward. I thought that was the one they were calling it back for.
One of the more obvious over turns you will ever see. I actually think they got the final decision wrong (should have a been a penalty to NSW) because the ball bounces forward off Myles' arm and foot and Inglis picks it up from about 3 metres in front of him.
I was actually screaming at the TV telling the NSW chasers not to tackle Inglis because it'd get over-turned if it went to the video ref, just after seeing it live. I was pretty confident that it was a strip.
Not sure if it hit the other players foot, was hard to tell, but definitely looked to get a bit of myles hand on it.
On one angle it looks like he touched it, and on the other angle it looks like he misses it. There needs to be 100% proof to over-rule the decision. In my eyes, there was only proof on one angle. The other, it looks like he misses it.
I may be carrying on here but I can't believe cunts are saying the Inglis try should have stood. Can someone get the screen shots up here of how far offside he was?
