Gallen, Tolman & Vaugan play different roles to what he does. None are in his class defensively. I'm not really fussed about yardage, I want someone who can hit and stick in the middle. Someone who's going to assert some defensive dominance in the middle.
Of those 3 tackles that got penalties, his was the softest IMO so I laughed when I heard it was his that was charged.
Jackson outplaying Cordner is pretty much irrelevant given they're both second rowers but both played lock. I've got no gripe with people rating Jackson the better player (I don't, but it's close) but how they played has such little relevance. Cordner is actually a passable lock but only if he starts and I'd sooner play Jackson at centre than lock.
