    Really weird game.

    - Hodkinson MIA.
    - I thought Clark played pretty well. Defended brilliantly.
    - The biggest difference in the game was Korisau. He was excellent and the middle third of the game when Keary played hooker was when Souths were most lost. When he came back on they rolled forward again. It's a shame he's going to Penrith, would've been a good pick up for someone like NQ/

George probably played better than sam.
But they were definitely the best 2 on field.

But it's Sam, he's leaving, and he played 80 mins with a broken face and was sill a gun.
    Was a pretty safe bet.

He suffered a broken cheekbone, so I do think that was taken into account, but his stats were immense and he seemed to do a lot.

Don't really think there was a big standout for us though, like someone who seemed to be involved in every successful attacking play or something, but there were few duds bar maybe Lote.

I think George Burgess was probably better but once Sam played 80 minutes with a suspected fractured cheekbone he was always going to win it.

A Burgess was in most things. I thought Lote played pretty well!

The 3 Burgers all fucking dominated. I think George might have "looked" better than Sam because Tom looks exactly like him. Sometimes I get them mixed up. Going by stats, Sam was better.

Te'o was good too, and Inglis was brutal.

    Couldn't agree less.

    True, haha. All 3 dominated.

I wouldn't say Lote was bad or anything, but he seemed a bit quiet and did drop a bomb. Probably our least influential, but that says a lot about how we played.

Lote was the best three quarter for Souths tonight IMO.

Surprised I didn't see much of Hodkinson. Would have been nice to see more of him and less of Reynolds being the typical grub cunt he is.

Yeah Hodkinson was just completely MIA. Must have been really struggling on his knee he just didn't touch the ball at all.

Yeah both back lines were pretty quiet - South's were playing it up the middle, obviously and the Dogs just couldn't get a roll on for it. If you take out his break Inglis wasn't seen in the first half.

    Dogs insanely missed Ennis.

So stoked for my old man. Absolutely going off.

Sam and George were both towers of strength. Tom was good too. George was CCM in my books. Koroisau was excellent deputising for Luke. Adam Reynolds and Hodkinson were absolutely fucking horrendous especially their kicking games. Te'o was great again.

Glad the officiating didn't have a big impact. How Jackson/Finucane (can't remember) wasn't binned is beyond me. And lol at that forward pass by Keary to Inglis.

Dogs, as predicted, had absolutely nothing in attack. 80 minutes and one try from a kick. How the fuck did they make the GF?

Souths should've lead by more at half time but always knew they would finish the stronger just as they did against Easts. Their defence and their ball control especially in the first half, was incredible.

Thought Pritchard was decent off the bench.

Yeah finucane had to be banned and i also was livid when the first try dq

Cool packs should be banned, Souths had an obv advantage.

So in their three finals matches this year Souths averaged 34 points per game. That is very impressive.

Burger's season was the most dominant for a forward since Steve Price's in 2007.
