    I'm not gonna deny that I've extremely biased against Thurston, I despise the cunt.
    The mement he announces his retirement will be my greatest league memory ever.

    There was about 6 dudes who could've been named MOTM and deserved it.
    But it was always gonna be Thurston, he could literally have sat down in the ingoals and had a nap while someone else created and scored 100 points and he still would have got it.

    I get that there's always gonna be unfair praise of the 'elite' players but it's so far beyond ridiculous with Thurston.

    Yeah but he didn't, did he? Okay, we all agree there's bias towards halves but dude, the cunt actually played really well. Fair go.

    Nah it's really not. The undue praise he gets is no worse than what Slater gets. Or Thaiday. Or Morris. Or half a dozen other players. It just seems that way because you hate him so much.

    Therein lies the negation of Tart's point, I think. Thaiday is considered an elite player. He's a walk-up starter for Australia ahead of Luke Lewis, Corey Parker and Josh Papalii. Nothing said about Thurston is comparable to that.

    NZ's defence was definitely exposed tonight. Luke especially.

    Thought Fifita was pretty ordinary, really. Reminded me a lot of Gallen pre-2011. Good running game but lots of stupid errors and penalties.

    How does SBW get only a 6? Cunt was the only one who looked dangerous for NZ. In fact, towards the end he looked like the only one really trying to mount a comeback. He made 145m, 30 tackles and 5 offloads. Okay he made quite a few errors but at least the cunt threatened the line in an otherwise impotent Kiwi attack.

    How on earth does that rate him lower than all Australian forwards?

    Honestly did not think we would beat NZ by that much. Reckon England would've put up a better fight in front of their home crowd. Then again, it seems like both of them played their GF last week.

    Also congrats to Johnathan Thurston for breaking Mick Cronin's 30-year-old record as the highest points scorer in ARL history with 310. Just needs 4 more to break Meninga's record and become the highest Origin points scorer as well.

    We were 10-10 at half time in the Anzac test. so I expected that sort of intensity from us for a full 80.
