    I'd swap DCE and Cronk around and keep Hodges in the side. The pack and the bench is basically what I want, fuck off Taylor and Gillett. Those kind of players are what hurt us this series.

    I actually really like Taylor and think that he'll play an integral role for Qld down the track.

    There's going to come a time in the not too distant future where we are not going to have the best 1,6,7 and 9 and we'll need creative types like Taylor in the back row. At the moment though, we don't need his flashiness.

    Hodges can GAGF. Yet another horribly average (at best) series. He has been in Origin for 10 years and achieved nothing. The cunt is also slow as fuck these days. And his dummy-half running was nowhere near as effective as it once was. Apart from that, the best thing he did all series was actually a shepherd. Fuck him. Overrated. Underachieving. Just an unneeded liability.

    While we've got Barba, DCE and who knows who else coming through the grades I'm not too worried about creativity just yet. I reckon Taylor will eventually be a vital part of the team also, Gillett also but that won't be any time soon.
    Yeah he has definitely slowed down big time, I know the pack/bench I want but not completely sorted on the outside backs yet.

    Phil Rothfield says he is 99.9% sure Ricky Stuart will be coaching the Canberra Raiders. I called it as a possibility earlier without hearing Rothfield say that. I still think he might go to Parra but apparently Rothfield reckons his mail is very good (take that cunt's word with a grain of salt of course.)

    I'd say right now, aside from Phil Gould, Stuart is definitely the best guy for the job. Player selections are dodgy but he gives NSW what Meninga gives QLD. Spirit, drive, emotion, intensity, and generally good man management. If he goes and they replace him with a Fittler or a Daley, NSW will go back 3 steps after taking 2 forward.

    It would be absolutely disastrous.

    Surely he wouldn't take the offer though. After all he's said and done about this job, surely he'd at least want to win one first.

    There's a chance he could do both jobs but I very much doubt the NSWRL would go against what the investigation advocated back in 2010 about having a standalone coach. You can already hear talk about "the systems Ricky has put in place" as if another coach could just slot in and take-over. Stuart wants another NRL job IMO. The Raiders could well be a dream come true for him given his history with the club.

    I think either Daley or Fittler (both City/Country coaches) will be the NSW coach next year.

    I think both NSW and QLD can agree that the most important thing for Origin now would be QLD winning 10 in a row. Such a thing has never happened before, a decade of winning... imagine being a part of that.

    I think Stuart is just milking them for a sweet pay check. If he can get $500,000 a year, to do less work than what MF does on this forum, then why would you risk your reputation by heading to a no hope club like Canberra or Parramatta?
