    I see what you're saying now- that whilst I rate him, he can only be equal to or slightly less than equal to the best player in the world.

    A fairly unnecessary statement to make, I think, although I guess if there ever were to be a player who would break the laws of logic and be better than the best player in the world, it would be Boyd. I'll admit, I never quite thought he was going to be good enough for it to be necessary to define the limit of his potential to be that extraordinarily and seemingly inaccessibly high, although I guess I can understand why you might, Alec.

    Who couldn't play good in a team of that calibre? He got selected before proving himself in Origin which is, IMO, a disgrace. His Origin performances this year were pretty bloody average.
