    Got my negative pants on but NSW haven’t been great in this game.

    Cody helped the attack sure, but it was a low bar. There were a number of times where he took the wrong option or absolute busted the play. A better Queensland team and those become actual blunders too.

    Best will get plaudits but fair dinkum anyone on this forum could have scored his two tries, what else did he do outside of that?

    Team looked infinitely better for starting Murray over Yeo. Queensland pretty disinterested, but it seemed to make things a lot simpler in the middle and Yeo was good off the bench.

    Still feel like Jake's got to get out of there. Such a cream puff running the ball with an impossibility slow play the ball. Frustrating to see Koloamtangi do well when I think ma y with half a brain would've got him in last year ahead of Tariq etc

    Can anyone help me on what Cody did so well that he’s being called a magician or a master for?

    From my perspective it was nothing more than elementary shifts to the left, Queensland incorrectly biting on the lead runner every time which allowed Ado-Carr enough space to utilise his speed.

    I give Walker credit for picking the right pass. Definitely. But you know what was the real difference? If you go back and watch, all three breaks NSW made down the left in that first half, Tedesco was not used. He was either not involved in the shift or Walker cut him out straight to Best. Holmes took Martin or Tedesco each time and was beaten by the pass.

    Credit to Tedesco for the try he set up in the second half and overall played his best game by far but that simple tactical adjustment of bypassing him made NSW more dangerous in 20 minutes than they looked all series.

    I also have nfi why Slater kept Fifita off for so long. We needed Cotter in the middle more than on an edge.

    Our attack was just shift right, shift left and shift all the way right again. No platform through the middle. No double ups down short sides. Hunt played away from Munster way too much and I could see him blowing up about it in the background when we had overlaps in that second half. Was driving me up the wall.

    Walker opens up the field so much for us, we haven't played with that much width in years.

    Best short side and selective passer in the game atm. Has been for quite a few years.

    Liam Martin with 4 runs for 33m in 80mins :lol: I get he brings defensive intensity but he's just so weak in many other areas of the game he just shouldn't be considered at rep level.

    Good to see Koloamatangi get his chance though, should be a mainstay for a number of years now.

    Brian To'o with over 600m for the series, beast.

    Channel 9 winning a Logie for the Origin coverage has gotta be the ultimate pisstake. My favourite was Flegler being halfway to the sheds before anyone realising he'd been sent for 10.
