Best is one of the worst centres in the comp when his side is on the ropes, so whats the bet Gutho ends up at centre and is ripped to bits?

Never seen a team change 3 props from one game to another. The bench is quintessential Freddy. Cunt is an absolute doughnut.

Feel for Sefano. For starters, how can you be expected to impact a game when you're only given 6 minutes or so either side of half time? Then you're thrown in the bin after the game because your side didn't win...

I think Fittler's logic is to play Gutho at fullback if they're struggling in attack again, and if not to not play him. Tedesco will be much better with Cook playing so it will be a nothing pick.

Yeah JakeT and Cook will help Tedesco exploit the middle. Walker too.

Spare a thought for Hynes who was apart of the squad all last series as 18th / 19th man, wins the Dally M, plays 12 mins out of position and now can’t even get a look in at the squad let alone the team.

The Walker selection is a curly one for me too. He’s been playing well and is deserving of a spot, but in a Game 3 dead rubber at 33 years of age, it’s an odd time to select him again.

Yeah, I consider the Hynes non-selection an obvious blunder.

If that's the case, then it only proves Freddy's ineptitude. If you're after an x-factor backline player, you'd go with Drinkwater over Gutho.

Two injuries to centres in two games has him chasing ghosts. He should have picked someone like Talakai who can be used a middle / edge forward and cover you in the centres if need be.

    Fittler is spooked.

So why did Ponga rule himself out?

Concussion and poor form plus not a lot of footy at fullback. It sucks for Qld but its clearly been beneficial for him imo. His last month or so has been the best form of his 2023. Has a lot to do with not being at 6 but he probably doesnt want the added distraction and pressure when Walsh was already on fire. Slowly building himself back up.

I agree with others if it was a decider, maybe a different story.

You gotta love how TPJ and Paulo go from starting in games 1 and 2 respectively to all of a sudden they're behind 3-4 other guys. Hahaha it just makes no fucking sense.

Even expecting weird shit, I'm still surprised.

It's so bizarre. I can't fathom what's changed that made Utoikamanu his go to last game and Jacob saifiti this game.... but Jordan McLean before both of them last year. Also RCG getting dropped last year still has me a bit baffled to come back now.

It's got to be him and Joey with a carton, 7-8 names for each position and a dart board.

Turbo getting injured was the worst thing that couldve happened for Hynes. No injury, he doesnt get on the field and isnt hung out to dry.

Or names in a hat. Selected NSW players do their best to stay out of the hat. After game 2; Jerome, Frizzel and Young went back into the hat with Keon, Saifiti, RCG and Walker. Best somehow dodged the hat.

Might be high but I reckon I could pick a NSW B side that would compete with the actual team given the likes of Edwards, Drinkwater, Staggs, Burton, Hynes, Reynolds, Klemmer, Paulo, Olakau'atu, Finucane. Throw in Leniu, Paseka, Talakai and so forth.
