    All depends on how the fullback spot works out. Townsend and Maloney are an improvement, but still really lack in key areas for halves.

    The kicking game they'll bring is massive for us. We haven't had that since Todd. It was our biggest downfall last year (along with creativity). Val at fullback with Lewis and Graham ball playing on the edges with our vast, vast improvement in the halves has me confident of more production. Bird will be sensational in the centres as well.

    I agree with plenty of that. But the teams above them won't slide IMO and a couple of teams below them will probably improve significantly. Should make top 8, but top 4 is extremely doubtful for mine.

    Reckon there was a bit of a lul in the standard this year over the whole comp & looks the same for 2016. Really hope teams like the Warriors & Raiders can emerge as genuine contenders to make it a bit more interesting than watching the Dogs, Dragons & Sharks scrap their way into the 8 only to inevitability be dispensed of with ease as soon as they play a top team.

    The Dogs/Dragons game was about as bad as you'll ever see in a finals series.

    Not as fussed if Souths don't bother sorting out their shit, a bottom 4 finish would please no end.

    Cronulla's biggest problem is Ben Barba. Having him on the bench won't work, particularly with reduced interchanges. I think you've gotta back him at fullback.

    Who are Parra playing at halfback and fullback.

    Foran joining should be a big boost and assuming the rest of the team is the same they can probably make a push for 8th. Lost a bunch of games by less than a score last year that could've gone either way.

    I don't think we'd be too disadvantaged having him on the bench in relation to the new interchange. Our starting forwards all play can continue to play big minutes once you shift Gal into the front row.

    I don't hate him. He's definitely good enough for first grade, and I'd pick him for a lot of other sides. I just think they have better players in the positions he can play.

    I actually don't think I'd pick him for the Tigers tbh. I guess maybe I'd consider moving Tedesco to the centres but I probably wouldn't bother; would be a bit like moving Holmes to the wing for him. Tigers halves were shit this year but Barba is such a meh half that I wouldn't bother replacing them with him unless I really lost long-term faith in them (like Lukic :p )

    I'd pick him for Gold Coast, Easts, St George, Manly, Parramatta and Newcastle. All at fullback (EDIT: except Manly obvs which is halves).

    I think Broncos fans naturally don't rate Barba as a fullback at all because all he did for Brisbane in the position was drop a shitload of bombs, and that's fair enough, but he's proven he can be good at fullback before so a team with a shit fullback or a winger/centre playing out of position there would be silly not to give him a go there IMO. In the halves he really is only a fringe first grader though.

    Moses is alright. He's shown enough to suggest he could one day be good. Brooks is fucking woeful though. Worst player in the comp.

    I never rated him when he was with the Dogs. I said as soon as it was announced that it was fucking awful recruitment, as he is an average player in an insane purple patch that obviously won't last. I'm sure I could find the posts, but THB.

    I could agree with Easts as they don't really have any other options, Dragons yes but that's just because Dugan is a centre playing out of pos. Disagree with Parra as they have better options and didn't really think about the Knights.
