    The staff have copped the individual sanctions and the club has been given quite a few penalties too. The players have been left out of it, although there's different claims to the Sharks investigation...

    I don't think they will but the last thing we need is another Premiership being stripped a year down the track because of these drug charges. The sooner ASADA make a call on this the better.

    I believe the ASADA board gathered for a board meeting today to set a date for a board meeting in the next month which they will then discuss a potential date to make a pre-announcement letting the General public know on what date they'll tell everyone when the next pre-announcement will be.

    There may be more board meetings & pre-announcements before we get that far though but that's just my info atm.

    Can someone explain to me how it makes sense that a six month ban gets counted in the off season so some people will only miss a few games? What's the point of the punishment if it doesn't start applying for the actual season

    I was under the impression this wasn't the case.

    If it was players could just accept their 6 month ban today and be back by February 20. Just in time for pre-season trials.

    I got it from a few quotes that have been said in both the Tele and SMH like this;

    and this;

    They are backdating the players bans to November 2013 if they take the deal which means technically it is one year from when the ban is handed down not from when the season starts or whatever.
