The cover defence is there though, and Taylor has nowhere left to run. Well inside the 22 now, he goes for a change of tack, passing off to Wilkinson. Miokovic is there, but is left groping as if feeling for the ripeness of melons as Wilkinson ducks head down below his swinging arm. Things are opening up here, so Wilkinson tries to pass back to Taylor, but he’s completely off balance and throws an awful pass. Taylor can’t gather it and knocks it on. The ref plays advantage as Cambridge picks the ball up and boots it downfield and into touch somewhere around the 10m mark.
