Did you have any luck with that PHP thing? I'm just about to get Furball and Vimes up to speed on the VB version, but if there's a new version in the near future, then I might just wait.
Yeah - that would definitely be an improvement. It just takes half an hour (and deteriorating) to boot up my PC to do it from there and I've attempted everything under the sun to get the programme to work on my mac (I've gotten quite close - the programme runs, detects the file etc. but when I click on the button to run it, the programme shuts down - no error message, no nothing - to quite difficult to troubleshoot.)
Looks like Seasonal Rugby S6 will be going ahead when we get enough contracted players. Is there any way you can write the sim broadcast software so that it'll work on iOS? It is the final big annoyance left now I've automated stat collection and substitutions.
What do you make of the exclusions of Luke and Ennis? I think it marginally favours Souths. Firstly because I don't think Luke is anything like as good as many people make out and they have a ready-made replacement whose played quite a bit of footy this year in his stead. And secondly because although I also don't rate Ennis much these days, their replacement for him is likely to be a makeshift, in Mbye, or it's going to dramatically weaken their already ordinary attack if it's Reynolds. And whilst I know you don't put much stock in the importance of captaincy, I do think in these big games, it can have an effect. So I think it either cancels itself out or marginally favours Souths.
Haha nah that was Sterlo who said that. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/rabbitohs-or-bulldogs-who-has-the-edge-for-the-nrl-grand-final-sterlo-rates-the-players/story-fni3fh9n-1227077057463?nk=5887de2bad5b85560ac6b2a41fbaca04
Had a piss up/bbq at mine last Saturday and my mates old man came over and got pretty blind and was trying to argue with me that Western Suburbs Magpies home ground was Leichhardt and kept telling me I was wrong when I was correcting him saying they played at Campbelltown.
3. Josh Morris: Still the best defensive centre in the game. Also seems to be moving more freely than a month ago. The ideal exponent of Canterbury’s up and in defence. Rating: 8
Who you liking in the other prelim? I think Penrith but there's just something about the Hasler-coached Dogs outfit. These two teams have been over-achieving all year and I think we might see one of the come back to earth. Either way I don't really think one of them can beat Souths.
He has his own database of all test cricket matches ever played (you prob too). He travels to watch womens cricket and associate cricket. I think from his blog. I think they contacted him about it
Have you seen this article? Done by a workmate http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/712173.html
Good call on tonight's game. I thought Manly would struggle through the middle against Souths but I didn't think it would be to such a degree. They were never even in the contest because of it, Also what did you make of Sutton playing on the fringe? I thought he was very handy at times. He's a bit loose but I think it really adds another dimension to their pack. Makes a lot more sense having the straight hard running of McQueen coming off the bench and Sutton starting out there.
