    Which ones do we think are good or bad?

    Rleague is still the best I've been on, overall. Mind you, if Cricsim had as many members I'd rank it way above Rleague for reasons I've adumbrated and praised before - Freedom of speech and expression. Since the appointment of Sonic as Admin and the recrudescence of MattO, as well as the shitty new layout of the forum itself, it's gone woefully down hill.

    I was on League Unlimited for a little while and despite their enormous membership numbers, debate and discussion was scant.

    Joining club-specific forums is utterly pointless - The bias is gross and extreme to a revolting level.

    I don't post a lot on club forums but I do read them a lot; I think it expands my knowledge. While bias and exaggeration are obvious issues, the level of analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each player and how they compare to their team-mates is generally a class above. Obviously a lot of people live in a dream world in which they've convinced themselves that the best three or four players at their club are comfortably the best in the world, but that doesn't come up much anyway.

    I talked to Watatank on LU a while ago - Fuck he's turned shit too after becoming a mod.

    1 was saying the Tigers will make the top 4.
    The other was saying Ennis was shit.
    The other was Moltzen > Coote in reply to Pyay.

    LU is ok but what MF says it's true, it's really got not good discussion. The people their are so deluded never take into consideration stats, so Brett White etc are world beaters.

    The other sports forums in LU are way better.

    I rate BroncosHQ very highly these days. Some people there don't have that much technical knowledge I guess, but they are all very open minded, as opposed to some people who think one way and do not stray from that line of thinking at all (ie. how I mostly was a few years back).

    I was an rleague boy before I ever came here. That was the glory days though led by Half and co) so it was pretty sweet. But when I moved to Sydney (06 from memory) I had a year without a cpu at all and in between working and heading out I didn't miss it at all. I posted there once I got the net back but found this place on about the 3rd attempt and decided I liked the forum here a shitload better.

    Though we always complained about this forum it's not the same now as it was 24 months ago, thanks largely to the international contingent. I'd rather fuck them off and welcome back brisbanerabbitohs, midnight and co tbh.
