Crusaders. Any good ALC bat would make the Crusaders team at the moment because they're picking %CJ Downes.
Wouldn't pick you at the Ravens. Specialist spinner really does not suit our balance; I'd have trouble picking Wilson or Ged for every game.
You and Taylor are of the same quality but I'd always play Taylor with Wilson because it adds more variety.
Would take AVA ahead of Veri ftr. AVA might've only averaged 36 in the last 3 seasons but Veri averages 37 across about 3 games.
It depends if you think 36 is acceptable, really. If it is, then doing it over a long period > doing it over a short period. If you think it's below par though, I'd take the guy who's not played many games as he has more chance of improving, particularly if his ALC record is good. It's about on the cusp, for mine.
Veri's definitely the better prospect but right now I'd definitely be taking AVA ahead of him. If Veri rips shit up in the early ALC season and AVA still averages mid 30s then I reckon that'd be a better time to pick Veri.
Marcuss was talking about a hypothetical situation in which AVA joined the Cyclones. He was saying he'd put Veri in ALC and promote him if he dominated after a few rounds.
There would be an Veri could still end up playing BS cricket tbh. Would probably come down to the Care Cup.
