    Wayne Bennett has come out and accused the other NRL coaches of being selfish in holding back players from the All Stars game.

    I called it a while ago, old age has set in with this bloke. Before you know it Sam Thaiday will be running onto the field from the bench to replace Darius Boyd at fullback.

    He's cracked it.

    That's pretty normal for a Bennett-coached side; he clearly tells them to have faith in the blokes in the tackle and get back onside before the tackle is complete. The damage when it backfires is more noticeable than the consistent advantage it gives the defensive line for every other plan; I think it's a worthy trade-off as long as your middle third defenders are generally good at wrapping up the ball.
