When I went to Singapore it was with a tour, so that pretty much killed any desire to go there anymore for me.
This is unacceptable - you have built up expectations and interest in your story which you knew would happen - yet you also knew you had no details to satisfy the inevitable questions that would ensue.:ninja:
Going to re-iterate my call for finals to be played at neutral venues. Spartans' dominance at the moment and Crabs' projected dominance makes a complete mockery of a finals series otherwise IMO.
My plan is two-fold 1. In the off-season, any threads in the Crabs sub-forum with any relation to CW get moved out into a separate Crabs sub-sub-forum which will not count towards post counts in the future. 2. Implement a longer term "player quality" rating into the Post Ranks which will be updated once a season based on Cribb's player rankings at the end of the season. Obviously reliant on Cribb - but should smooth out some of the prodigious player ability swings over the course of one season. If Cribb can give me results from the end of each previous season, then I will weight the rankings for the start of S6 accordingly so that S5 is seen as a bit of an aberration from a player ability point of view.
I am not smart enough to have any idea what the 2nd one means. But I applaud you for settling on option 1 as outlined above. A very sensible decision.
CW discussion is a significant but minor part of the subbie. If you want to avoid the activity having an effect than that won't do much. Freezing the post counts for all subbies in the offseason would be fairer.
tbf you stand to be one of the biggest losers if he does find away to deduct away the CW related threads.
Hmm not sure how I feel about this idea, given off-seasons aren't particularly short. I suppose it'll stop the Crabs dominating so much, but it hinders the impact of making a culture out of a club, IMO.
Have you not read anything else I've written. Seriously, I've indicated the off season is likely to be long otherwise I wouldn't be doing this.
