Last night was the best crowd atmosphere I've ever been to. It was unreal. Admittedly I've never been to suncorp but it was still hectic.
Because we scored a try that was disallowed because some offside nuffty from your team jogged into the streaker and fell over. Even Maranta or that black cunt in a wheelchair from Malcolm in the Middle could have scored so we got a re-pack.
There's a pic out there of the streaker running up the field and Hoffman eyeing him hungrily.....whether that's because of an opportunity to milk a penalty or a penis remains to be seen though... I swear Parker pushed him. Laughed my fucking freckle off at that "..that'll be Greg Bird.." So true though, the cunt makes choke face when someone grabs his laces. Rules.
Ps how putrid was the reffing last night. Two real obvious examples was Gillet getting pushed into the play the ball area and Fifita dropping the ball because of a 'push'. I nearly exploded when I thought Hayne wasn't going to call the McAnus knock on.
The refs were letting both teams stand offside all night. You could see them visibly waving them to get back.
Slater was doing his leg out bomb catch all game too and we didn't get penalised thank fuck. Teo's high shot on Bird was bullshit too.
One thing that always gets me is players just giving up when they think an obstruction happens. Woods is literally standing a metre away from JT and doesnt make any effort at all. Surely it'd be better to try and stop the play on your own than gamble going upstairs?
I thought so too. Especially considering how disorganised and ineffective the attack looked close to the try line.
Hilariously if that had happened whilst NSW had the ball, on their own 10m, it would also be QLD's ball. Neutral infringement. Team with superior field position gets the ball. This is true if the ball bursts, if the referee accidentally blows his whistle and so on.
I actually don't think they played too badly. They were useless at creating points but their forwards held their own and so did their outside backs for the most part. Neither side was brilliant but they weren't dreadful either.
The strip call on Bird who walked off the mark and played for penalties all night was the worst of them IMO.
