That was an awful pass. I thought it was Cordner but it regardless of who is was it was a shoddily executed pass and a poor selection to begin with. Even if the pass had gone to Dugan's chest there was no need for Pearce to fire it out of a cannon like he did.
Might be harsh on him but it was a pretty ordinary effort in that instance to be fair. lol That was Parker's only real error for me in the game unless I missed anything else.
It's not harsh. Was a pathetic miss. He knew it too. He tried to make up for it in the next set. Parker has a few of them in him.
Watching defenders do that arm grabbing business infuriates me. Seen it a lot from the Cowboys but just looked like Parker was a bit lazy with that attempt.
Hahahaha yeah it wasn't harsh at all. To say someone missed a tackle when they missed a tackle is the truth.

Loving the sneaky Myles/Slater combination. Hasn't been talked about much but Myles got two offloads away after drawing in several defenders and Slater capitalised. Particularly on the second one just after Hodges's try. 35m break made the set after points superb.
It was pathetic. But who was next to him who should have been covering? Thaiday. You have to expect one on one misses in league, and Parker pretty much stopped him so they had all the time in the world to cover him or get involved in the tackle as well.
I was so fucking relieved when I realised Farah's 40/20 wouldn't make the sideline. It wasn't a bad option if executed well but because it wasn't, it turned over position with two plays remaining. And with the ball in hand, QLD are comfortable. It also didn't help that the chase was pathetic, particularly from the man who kicked it, with Boyd making a 40m break. QLD were back over halfway within two tackles. And on third and fourth Smith raped them through the middle. Series on the line, behind by two with 3 minutes to go, huge home crowd, and they let QLD go 90m in 5 tackles. Really, really poor. You would never see this QLD side do that at Lang Park with the series on the line.
After being at the ground and not actually seeing a replay as of yet, was Boyd's play on McManus in the last minute of the game anything of note? Obviously in the heat of the moment everyone in the Blues section (including myself) went up in a burst of rage. So I have NFI if he tried to take him out mid air or whether it was a little bump.
He's allowed to tackle him in the air because he's the defender. Whereas the hit on Slater for example was by an attacker (Hoffman/Fifita). By attacker I obviously mean the team in possession. McManus knocked on before Boyd actually touched him anyway.
That rule shits me. It had no impact on the game and I'm not whinging about the call but I find that rule terribly inconsistent.
I hate the fact if you knock them, even while competing for the catch you get penalized half the time.
I always thought you weren't allowed to tackle the man in the air because they considered it dangerous. That can't be it though because they allow you to do it if you're the defender. Personally, I think as long as you don't take their legs out or upside them they should be fair game, regardless of who the attacker or defender is.
Really had to laugh at Ray Warren implying that Inglis deliberately smashed McManus in the face in their opening set. FMD.
