I'm averaging 50, and have one of the highest strike rates, and have the highest simming average...I'd be in the team.
Last season has no bearing, IMO. For all the good players to have to play 2 rounds for QLD and then come back for one game in the OD, you can't get any momentum. When actually playing straight up, bam domination.
Can't really look at last season tbh... else I'd be there opening with Whicker And Centin>>Blunder... last season he didn't play because he was playing Vic.
Based on the rankings: 1. DN Boland 2. RG Cribb 3. JP Thornton 4. TR Man 5. BG Herd 6. KD Jones 7. JP Gonzalez 8. M Perry 9. GJ Weaver 10. JT Whicker 11. SIA Yates
Haha, Yates is/was a bit the same tbh. Better than being a Blunder and getting spanked around by the tail though. It's good to have a banker who you know will run through a team if they are 6 down or so and trying to score at > 5.5rpo.
Haha that stung... So true though That is such a good batting line up. Having Jones and Gonzo at 6 and 7 is gun.
Was going to argue the point and show you how many good batsmen you have, but you do need 6 bowlers, so I guess Devonshire will be at 7 and Webber will be at 6, which I guess makes Perry at 5 fair enough. There will be a lot of squabbling for those top order spots, though. Toolman and Gemmell are nailed in I suppose but Manera, Vago, Sheehan, Big Man, Gee and Pilgrim all have pretty good records IIRC.
