Well, if they both go out in the semis, I can head away for Labour Weekend for a bit more jet-setting. So definitely would be worse to be disappointed two weeks in a row. It'd be bitter times.
Fair point, but since then, we somehow managed to get to the final of 2007, and then had crisis after crisis and have now crashed out of the WC this year. I'm talking more current, than 8 years ago
It's hard to gauge really. We are on our third-string All Blacks flyhalf Aaron Cruden but Eden Park seems to be a ground the Australians find almost impossible to win at. It's definitely not a walk over if Australia defend like they did against South Africa.
Yeah, it'll be live. Pretty sure they've shown all the Wallabies games live, barring those clashing with the league finals.
I hope we win, but I watch Rugby for a good game of sport rather than support a particular side (bar Taranaki), so I won't be as gutted as the rest of the country if we lose. In saying that, if we go out, Wales ftw. Love them reaching the semis.
Speaking of Wales, I honestly think they will make the final. Can't remember the last time France backed up two knock out matches in a row. I also think the All Blacks will win this game. The Wallabies defense is immense, but if they get fuck all ball two weeks in a row they will get accordingly punished at some point. South Africa not capitalizing on that possession was terrible stuff, and they deserved to get knocked out.
