Yeah, other people have had some shady dealings with him as well. Details are sketchy though. A lot of people here have the story wrong - that he actually scammed the members here out of money - which isn't true. I do think he legitimately wanted to help the site, but I'm unsure of what his plan or his motives really were given how it played out. It was just a really frustrating experience for me and I was ready to take control of my site back again. I've got more money to my name these days so paying what I pay isn't really an issue.
