    Got on the news the other night, lacing one of our forwards out.

    Also got the Rising Star nomination for my club in the paper earlier in the year. Winner is announced at league presentation night at the end of the year.

    Was told this afternoon that I should never play footy again and I'm going to have to avoid any sort of intense exercise. Worst news ever. Comeback plans gone.

    But imma gonna prove em wrong and make it back. Mark it down. Gonna be the greatest comeback since lazarus

    Played our local rivals on the weekend. They're a few spots above us in the ladder and had been talking shit about the game all week. Had them on the ropes when we were 6 goals up during the 3rd quarter but they got it back to 2 goals at 3/4 time. We came out and kicked something like 9 unanswered goals in the last and got up by 60 odd. Such a good day.

    Currently 5-4 just outside of finals.

    After thumping everyone we came up against one of the top teams last weekend. We were missing our captain who plays centre, our centre half forward, our first choice ruck, our best small forward and leading goal kicker and a back pocket. The. To add to that they're first grade team got a last minute forfeit. Lost by 9 goals and the boys kicked 4 goals 12 or something. 94-40ish.

    On the plus side I was on some cunt that kicked 12 goals the week before and something like 58 goals in 6 games. Cunt got 2 kicks one mark a d a behind all game. On the negative I've never kicked so poorly, didn't hit a target all day and was struggling to hit a drop punt towards the end

    Well we've continued our dominance, have lost 1 game all year when we had 8 blokes out and they stacked their reggies team with first graders. Our % is about 300. The other top team we beat by 5 points a few weeks ago and beat by 10 on the weekend. Everyone else we towel by 12 goals+

    Finally clear at the top after last weekends win. I sadly broke my ankle inside the last 5 minutes. See a specialist Monday but it doesn't look good, gf is just under 6 weeks away if we get there. Have never played finals footy in the 7-8 seasons of afl I've played, never mind playing a GF, so if I miss out ill be pretty devastated.

    Minor premiership wrapped up, ankle not broken first doc fucked up reading the x ray. Normally 8 week recovery from the damage I did, will be 6 to the gf so I should be right if we get there, seeing the doc on Monday for some cortisone and see how she responds
