    Couldn't find a thread of this and my teams actually good this year so thought I'd post it up. Had our second game on the weekend after heaps have been rained out. Versed the team on top of the ladder and spanked them 102-3, although they're only on top because they've versed the 3 lowest teams. Won our first game 110-25 ish.

    I'm also the clubs media manager, find a report below.

    For some perspective Adam is a 145kg lump of a thing, Brad is the fittest guy on earth and Brett is a 16 year old pencil that got belted by their skipper.

    At a new club this season out in the ammo's. Four games into our season, team is currently 2-2.

    Rd1: Lost by 8 goals
    Rd2: Won by 10 goals
    Rd3: Won by 1 point
    Rd4: Lost by 8 points

    Started on the bench in Rd 1 due to playing shit in the praccy games. Probably played 60% game time, mostly as a forward flanker but also in the midfield. I'm taller than our FF and CHF which kinda shit me though.

    After that I played the entire Rd2 game on the HBF. Dominated and got second best on, other team wasn't much chop though.

    Played one of the best sides in the comp Rd3, expected a belting but we had a bloke from the Cannons play with us for a week, think his old man played AFL too. Pretty much carried the side from CHF. We were up by 32 at 3/4 time and held on by 1 point.

    Last 3 games I've played on the HBF the entire game, absolutely cooked after all of them. Again I'm also taller/bigger then our fullback and at times had to swap back there due to him getting rag-dolled.

    Hoping I get swung forward at some stage soon.

    Haha I was coerced into playing for the first year of a senior team up here then the week before the season started they merged with a place 1 hour away so fuck that.

    Fuck I hate long drives before footy. Spent 45 minutes on the road before the game on the weekend and I was still stiff for the first half.

    Playing down at Yarra Valley this weekend at 9am and it's a solid hour drive there.

    Haha, yeah, took me an hour to get to home games and training last time I played.


    Played praccys at Phillip Island and some games 30 mins past Frankston too

    Past 4 seasons I trained 2 minutes away and the furthest ground was about 30 minutes away.

    Lucky cunts, We've got one team that is 50 minutes away and the rest are 1 hour 45mins- 2.5 hours away.


    Makes for a mean piss up on the way home though so it's got it's advantages. We had to play a home game 50 minutes up the road due to the weather last week.

    Yeah I was about to say wait until Emm or Benny talk about where they travel to. When Port were still in Group 2 they had to go to Woolgoolga which would be a solid 2.5 hours.

    Junior cricket was similar.
