Don't want the Season 9 stuff so public. Negotiations should be private in cases where players have current contracts, so a thread like that isn't really acceptable at the moment.
Isn't recruitment open though? And the Allstars thread wasn't closed even though it was created before the recruitment ban finished...
Yeah, but if you read the announcement... The same applies to clubs who need players, clubs who think they've already acquired players and random busy-bodies who like posting player movement threads. I want the recruitment stuff private at the moment. I don't want to see public threads about who is going where and press releases from clubs saying who they've got. Often, something will happen on CricSim that I'll look back on and think "that didn't go too well..". In these circumstances, I'll attempt to change them for the future. I don't work on a precedent system - I change things for the betterment of the forum, the clubs and the competition.
