    Both Hodges and Inglis said today that they won't be retiring from origin after this year, but will consider it after 2 home games next year.

    A side has kept the same spine over the course of a series 11 times for 9 wins. In 85 though NSW did change their halfback for Game III they'd already beaten a QLD side which had the same spine for the three games. So that ones a bit cancelled out. The other loss was NSW last year. In fact that's the closest NSW have come to winning a series in this 7 year dynasty with Stewart, Carney, Pearce and Farah playing all three games.

    No side with the same spine has ever lost a series when it's gone to a Decider.
