Forgot about him. Good thing I put Other in there.

 Agreed. It's really a bit previous to drop him.

  6. Reagan Wheelson RDP Wheelson

    Give him another 5

I was against Reynolds playing Origin this year, and I'm glad he didn't but IMO he definitely has the mettle to play it now, another finals series will do wonders for him, especially if we go a fair way. His running and passing game has undoubtedly developed this year and I think with a bit more of a focus on his defence (which isn't bad, but not Origin quality) he could really develop into an all-round halfback that New South Wales is crying out for.

    14. Gidley

    Shamelessly re-posting

If Kelly keeps up his form from this year I'd love to see him and Carney play together. We'd score some serious points.

Regardless of what you armchair experts think, Reynolds has been extremely consistent since he's come onto the scene. You can make all the homosexual excuses you want to justify your hatred for him, but the bloke has the numbers on the board and the performances to boot. At this stage it'd have to be him and Carney.

We've had poor kicking options throughout the entire 8 year domination, his skill set would be invaluable.

If Wallace regains his earlier form he's an auto pick, robbed from motm in one game and busted his nut in another but still soldiered on.

The day Adam Reynolds turns into a well-rounded halfback is the day I take a dump on Pluto. He'd have to be one of the most one dimensional players in the history of FG football. Even if he didn't have a terrible pass, which he does, he still woudn't set up tries through the hand because he just isn't a very good creator/ball player, and the first option in his repertoire is the kick. His running game may have developed since last year but that isn't saying much when you run for about 13m in 26 games. He still produces performances in which he doesn't run the ball even once.

If you want him to play I can understand it. The competition isn't exactly fierce and he does have a marvelous short kicking game. If that's all he offers NSW well it's still more than Pearce. But this stuff about being well-rounded, you've gotta be joking. You can count on one hand the number of constructive tries he's set up in his entire career. (Probably all the way back to under 11's.) He's Brent Sherwin without the average passing game, friend. And like Sherwin, when his kicking game isn't on he's about as useful as tits on a bull.

I'd be all for Reynolds if we had him alongside Carney with Hayne at the back and he took somewhat of a back seat in regards to playmaking.

lol it's a bit of a joke to sneer at us for being "armchair experts" isn't it? It's not like you're a decorated former player. And even if you were I wouldn't give a fuck.:p

Please. Have you seen my shoulders?

It was real toss up between Carney and Pearce but I stuck with the latter.

Yeah, I can understand this. I just prefer to rely on my halves for creativity rather than my fullback. It's not like Hayne created anything in Game I.

You'd make an excellent wise guy. That's some fierce loyalty, my friend :p

Why does Walsh make the poll? Isn't he playing in England next year?

    Carney 5/8th and Brooks halfback.

Is he? I never keep UTD with player movements.
