    Yes. Their teams sucks and the AFL wants then to improve quicker and get more attention in Western Sydney.

    A 18 year old KPF won't help them in the short-term, but a star from another club will.

    This is a good point. Part of me would only trade the #1 pick for a bonafide superstar (ala Buddy or Ablett), but they need anyone who's a gun, really.

    Ablett and Buddy would be worth more then a #1 pick imo.

    GWS are probably best off trying to bundle something like #1, #19 and a kid like Taylor Adams for a genuine star + another good player.

    Would GWS take #3 + Daniel Cross for #1?

    Allows Western Bulldogs to not risk it with Tom Boyd and GWS get someone who could add some experience to their side who isn't in favour with the Bulldogs.

    Only problem is that he isn't a superstar and is aging.

    Nah, #1 jumping to #3 is a big jump considering the standout player is a KPF.

    Would cost the Dogs someone like Higgins or Libba. Not sure if GWS would be keen though, they'd probably just end up trading away #3.

    Carlton
    Fremantle
    Brisbane Lions
    Gold Coast

    Sides which could do with him:

    Adelaide
    GWS (if Franklin doesn't come)

    Gold Coast wouldn't be desperate imo. Dixon is a star in the making, May will be something up forward then they just need either Day or Lynch to come along too. Although Day may play down back.
