    Agreed, although the fact that Farah & his manager were questioning Tallis to begin with, is the bit that doesn't paint Tallis too well.

    Where did the story about Farah and Potter originally come from ......and for what reason did a 15 mnth old conversation make headlines in the media?

    If Tallis doesn't open up his mouth to begin with .....then Farah & his manager wouldn't have had to lie about its validity.

    Nah, don't agree with that. There'd be a tonne of discussion about the fact that Potter didn't have the backing of senior players - can't see anything wrong with Tallis confirming that he'd heard the same thing.

    Tallis didn't mention the germs name until the germ and his manager questioned his integrity and called him a liar.


    The germ could have denied it and shut his mouth or he could have owned up to what he originally said and put the matter to bed.


    Instead he came out on a lovey dovey Gould interview and admitted he lied and still basically tried to deny it.


    Love him to be my captain- wouldn't know where you stood.

    Tallis could have easily covered by saying a current player told himoff the record 15mths prior when pressed and this is a non issue at least directly to him if he'd then clued up a journo to rumor the shit out of it he would have been viewed better

    Why should Tallis cover his arse when he's been called a liar?


    Farah has had his dirty mitts over all the tigers problems over the last five years. He finally got called on it and showed what a grub he is.


    Like I said - if he was my captain I'd be watching my back very closely.

    Nah, piss of - nodd's exactly right. If Farah or his manager had come out and said that the rumours were false and Robbie was backing Potter and then left it at that, than you'd have a point. He didn't though; he had a go at Tallis and suggested he was speaking bullshit - once that had happened Tallis owed Farah nothing as far as I'm concerned, and Farah doesn't get to hide behind any 'off the record' bs.

    Saying you think he's struggling as a coach 15 months prior though doesn't mean you're the one trying to push Potter out of the club.

    Isn't that what Farah was denying all along? I think it's a pretty fair stance from him tbph based on what's been aired.

    So I disagree, Tallis does owe Farah after that kind of insinuation.

    Farah denied he ever said it to Tallis and so did his manager- His Manager went on the radio and said it was a lie>


    So when Farah goes on 9 and tells Gould, "Oh yes I said it, but 15 months ago"- who is the fuckin liar??
