Haha it must suck to be a Newcastle fan living in Auckland. Would be almost as bad as being a St George supporter living in Canberra.
Both teams are far better at home than away. I don't really believe in the bounce-back factor in the same way Magic does but if any game was going to be influenced by it, it'd be this one. A ridiculous amount of scrutiny has been put on the Warriors all week; this was like a grand final for them.
I don't think that is even an excuse for him. I know he played mostly at fullback/five-eight in juniors but I was under the impression that he was always being groomed as a centre. It isn't as if he is being thrown into a position completely unprepared - he is just shithouse defensively.
I stopped watching. Walked back into the room as he was planting the fucking ball. Noticed he wasn't celebrating and waited for him to walk back because of a forward pass or something...But no...
I was wondering if I was just seeing things through red and blue eyes or not. Those two calls were ridiculous.
The Warriors seemed to get the rough end of the stick with the penalty calls, first balf especially but Newcastle definitely got some dud calls.
This might be the wrong thread but who the fuck does Shaun Johnson think he is? Having a cry session because he got benched last week? FMD. If that's the attitude in the Warriors atm then no wonder they're having such a shithouse season so far (despite this win).
We basically handed you two penalties and a try on your first set of six. I thought we had a great first set from the kickoff, but then we followed it up with absolute garbage in defence to go behind straight away.
