About how it was fitting he got the 69th spot.

  2. morgieb MC Burridge

Did you expect it to be higher or lower?

  3. Harps ZAF MacDonald

I was think 80s at best.

  4. morgieb MC Burridge

Most people I spoke to saw it being one of the highest ranking 2012 songs, I thought it'd be around where it was.

  5. morgieb MC Burridge

Triple J say that 49 of the songs were released in the 1990's...yet most of these songs are 2000's or later.

  6. Harps ZAF MacDonald

    Thrift Shop will be highest.

  7. morgieb MC Burridge

No way, few people voted for it afaik.

Teenage Dirtbag is one of the best songs in the countdown so far.

There's already too many songs from the past 2-3 years in there.

Oh and fuck you cunts hatin' on Muse.

Early Muse were fantastic and they're still alright, but their shit is way too similar these days.

Best concert I've been to though. Great live.

I'm sure they said the most songs were from 97. The #1 song has already been at #58 (No aphrodisiac), along with Freak and Leaving Home. Paranoid Android will be in there too, with possibly Blink and the Verve.

  17. Skippos SM Morgan

Yeah on my half completed sheet before i was timed out Bittersweet Symphony was #1. Brilliant song.

I know right. Goes back to what I said about the triple j slaves obsessing over whatever's on high rotation. They're the ones who would have voted for it.

Good to see The Strokes and The Offspring in there today, but it pissed me off to hear Brother in at #42.
