    Actually I go for the Roosters and QLD sooo why would I want him to play? I much prefer him being left out. The argument that he is better than Pearce is a fucking joke, Pearce is twice the player Hodkinson is. He's fucking shit.

    I don't think anyone is saying Hodkinson is the better player overall. Merely that Pearce's record in Origin completely disqualifies him. As EWS said last night, Hodkinson didn't do much but he wasn't a net loss to the side which is better than what Pearce was.

    Frankly, I don't think either of them are Origin standard. I'd definitely pick the bloke who hasn't failed over and over again though.

    Hard to begrudge Hodkinson of the accolades after Des had him sit in reserve for so long behind Kris fucking Keating.

    He's pretty average though, although less of an issue going forward than Reynolds IMO.
