Thoughts on fixturing

    I'll assume that was aimed at me. My origin idea:

    Week 1:
    Game A: NSW v QLD------Playing for the Goodes Goblet
    Game B: SA v WA---------playing for the Pavlich Plate


    Week 2:
    Game C: Winner Game A v Winner Game B
    Game D: Vic City V Vic Country

    Week 3:
    Game E: Victoria V winner of game C


    Don't know the merit in having a Vic style city country, but I do know there are a lot of rural yokels down there that would get behind it and it would serve as a trial run for Vic selection. Is a bit rough that the side playing Vic in week 3 gets two games together and Vic doesn't but whatever. Could throw a VFL all stars in there for a game or something (I don't know).

    I'd say VIC v SA would be quite close while WA would be not far off.

    That said I'd need to check; Victoria's got more players and all that but I'm pretty sure SA have a knack of producing guns.

    They don't have the all round quality of Victoria though. They'd have some mid tiers playing, we wouldn't unfort.
