    Deserves its' own thread.

So episode 1 is dropping today for lots of places/ devices. Unfortunately still no news on a release date for PS3 EU (only NA today) EU of course being all of us NZ and As folks as well.

Not too disappointed as I still need to play TWD: 400 Days which is a standalone story which was released in between the seasons. I figure now is probably the best time to play it (would never come back to it after starting Season 2 and gives me something until the wait)

Personally I'm very intrigued as to how playing as Clem will be. Looking at reviews apparently Telltale have mastered it, so that's promising. Also it's possible that Kenny's still alive which will be interesting to pull off - in my play through he was gone for when trying to save Ben IMO. We heard a gunshot but never knew the actual fate. Hopefully if he is still alive, the explanation is reasonable.

I own the first season but I've just watched a lets play of it on youtube and not played it myself, will probably do the same with this season

So in this game do you actually control and kill things or just make the decisions for them ?

In some instances you get to walk around yes - looking for ways out or what have you. It is not a shooter though, yes you kill things but that's a point and click action. Think of it like Heavy Rain.

This game is all about the story so no it's not some run around killing zombie fest.

Honestly can't see why you'd do that. You might as well play it yourself - at least that way you get to choose what you say/ do.

I watched it before purchasing it. Games which are essentially just telling a story I quite like watching instead of playing. The comments of the person playing are usually quite amusing and its like you're watching a movie with someone

Yeah cool. Just wanted to see if I should get it on Mac or PS3 cause I'm pretty shit with computer controls.

Yeah computer controls shouldn't be an issue at all.

Just finished 400 days. Was quite good IMO. Quite nice to hear other stories and some fresh charatcers. Going to be interesting what characters we see in season 2 from it. Especially since for everyone different people stayed behind at the camp (some got everyone to go, whilst some had one or a few stay). Just Russell stayed for me.

Now those fuckers needa release S2 for NZ soon.

You own it and you're watching someone else

There's no benefit to watching a lets play, all you're doing is taking the experience of making your own decisions away from you. It's not like other games where you can get something wrong. Or there's things you can learn from watching others.
