    Off the top of my had, Ryan Nelsen is utter quality, and got passed up.

    Piennar also getting passed up is a bit of a mystery

    Pienaar hasn't totally proven himself AFAIC. Undoubtedly he's been in form for quite a while though. Plenty of better central midfielders out there.

    Biggest one I noticed was Fernando Gago.
