    Hird never walked around in the back pocket on ANZAC day, no, but Stanton did.
    Hird was the heart and soul of the Club, Stanton, tradable imo

    Haha, ANZAC Day.

    But yeah, booing him is harsh, and cheering when he was concussed is defo not on, but I was listening to SEN this morning and people are calling up saying he's a hard runner and he isn't just a downhill skier, which is bullshit. Very lazy player. Doesn't sheppard, doesn't chase hard, doesn't put his head over the ball.

    true, but the number you wear does not mean you will be the player (in this case Hird) will be, what about Guthrie and Varcoe @ Geelong, Varcoe will never be as good as ablett, nor Guthrie > Ablett

    I don't mind Stanton tbh, although he is soft as butter he should still definitely be in the team IMO. As for him wearing Hird's number, I couldn't care less. Would hope Hird wouldn't either.

    Not getting to watch many games on TV atm, so I have been watching all the replays online. Very very happy with how the boys are playing this year. A real chanc at top four at the end of the year and we will be in the hunt come finals time if we keep playing like this.
