So Stats are going to be a real cunt for this. The only way for me to get individual stats for this is to record the stats for each player manually for Round 1 and then minus the running total from whatever it ends up for each player after the game after it etc. Willing to do this but it will take time and likely mean I won't sim tonight.
Sounds like its gonna be a real pain, how about just a player rating out of 10 or something. Do it from your own observation. Would make it easier...
I just had what I think is a good idea for a solution. I'm thinking that I'll give a player rating out of 10 for these following categories. Attack ----Defence-----Handling------Overall I'll also give a kicking rating for anyone who kicks. Attack for forwards will be mainly determined by things such as Number of hitups, The impact of hitups (i.e how many metres made per hit up), tackle breaks, offloads etc. Attack for Backs will be determined by things such as try assists, line break assists, tackle breaks, support play, offloads, etc. Defence points will be pretty general and will be determined by things such as missed tackles, positioning in defence, tackles which cause turnovers, cover defence, penalties for illegal tackles etc. Handling is pretty self explanatory. I will then come up with an overall rating for the player for the match. Obviously these will be subjective. This is probably the most accurate and feasible way of doing things tbh.
I'll be tracking this every round until later in the season at which point it will go behind closed doors.
