Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the moment we have all been waiting for. It's time to find out who will take out this season's major award, the Ben Jacobs Medal for player of the season! We start after the voting was closed to the public after round 5.

Either Bots or Gayler will win it. With Parker an outside chance IMO.

  3. Benny BS Read

How I missed out on any votes from the first couple of round is beyond me. I was best on field or close to it the first few games.

  4. the_killerz S Bakkum

    Bots will win it IMO.

  5. Lordeman JA Robertson

Without wanting to follow your lead and talk myself up, I'd put myself above you and King for this season in the second row, tbh. I made more tackles and metres than you, and missed alot less.

Parker and Green are the standouts for the second row, though.

  6. Benny BS Read

I agree with the second half of your post wholeheartedly.

  7. Ged GEC King

Yeah. After comparing stats, awta. Really, I should have been playing lock all season. It would have been better for the team.

  8. Lordeman JA Robertson

I'm sorry if this is just me missing the joke, but was it deliberate to leave Gemmell out? :p

Vago played in the second row all season.

  9. Ged GEC King

We all know why the standard wasn't as high.

  10. Lordeman JA Robertson

We didn't really have the depth in the second row/front row to do that this season, unfortunately. You obviously weren't horrible there, anyway.

  11. Lordeman JA Robertson

Tipping Miokovic to finish quite highly.

    Gayler is ripping up.

Looks to hard to catch from here

  17. Alec AD Funkotron

Makes sense. Hawks aren't a team of champions, they only have a few dominant players, and therefore an easier shot at the award.
