It's basically the Cribb factor. I rate better than Tyson by a lot in batting and even a little bit in bowling, but I don't get picked ahead of him in the NSW system because he grows an extra leg in rep cricket and I epic fail.
They'd be country. Lots of people in 'country' are actually from the city of Newcastle, but it's basically defined into 'Sydney' and 'Not Sydney'.
We have a lot of people from newcastle don't we (like, in australia hypothetically 1/200 are from newcastle, but here, it's like 1/20)
Yeah, that's due to the fact that the core of this forum came across from a couple of rugby league forums, and Newcastle is a very strong rugby league area. We can actually fill a team full of people who support the Knights. We have a disproportionate amount of people from Hervey Bay too.
