    Because he played the game the way it should be played. In the last two seasons the things he did were out of this world. Finding Idols without clues, turning around huge alliance deficits, going head to head with quality players and coming out on top ala Boston "I think this game is getting the best of me" Rob, winning immunities just when he needed to. It's a farking disgrace how a coattail rider can win it two seasons in a row, it's an absolute farking disgrace. It's called the Steven Bradbury style of winning. The jury don't respect the game at all and because of that, after 20 seasons, all of my respect for Survivor is gone. The game is massively flawed.

    The jury were bitter as ****. Bitter than an Everton supporter. How they think Sandra deserved to win the millions dollars I'll never know, bitterness and lack of respect for the game got to them.

    The jury is part of surviver. Russel (as much as i love him as a personality) is a shit player of surviver. He dosnt think about the jury, and its something you MUST do. He will not ever win.

    You three are farrrrkwits. To start off, he's got an awesome social game. You don't dominate like that without one. All this talk that he has a piss poor social game because a bunch of bitter sooks couldn't stop crying - this happened twice. I know some retard is going to try and attack this paragraph with typical stupidy so save yourselves the embarassment. He convinced a dude to change his vote in a situation that if he didn't change it, he was staying in the game regardless. Thats a ****ing awesome social game.

    The three elements of Survivor - Outwit, Outlast, Outplay. Done, done aaaand done. A bunch of fickle wankers stopped a bloke who overcome, twice, massive number deficits in alliances, found idols without clues and then used them wisely and carried numerous people through the game on his back. Yet he still doesn't even win, and the second time round he didn't even get one vote! That's ****ing ridiculous.

    As much as I admire Russell, and think he's done awesome things, the jury is what decides the winner, if he can't get the jury on his side I can't see how you can say he "deserved" the win.

    im a big fan of russel.

    BUT. Clearly he does not have a good social game. He has it in patches. you cant be good at half of something. He ends up on the bad side of everyone. untill he becomes capable of getting people on side he is not the best player ever.

    lol. Like talking to a wall. Manipulating people into doing what he wants, finding idols without clues - more or less anyway you look at it - dominating the game. Yet he doesn't win because he didnt give blow jobs to everyone so they would call him mate. It's quite ridiculous anyone would argue otherwise.

    Pfft. The fact is that this is how the game is, to be the best at it you must be able to work within the rules. Russel could do NEARLY everything, yet clearly he was never going to be able to win. To be the best at it you have to be able to balance ALL facets of the game not just some.

    And all this talk about how the jury should have voted him cause he played the 'best' is shit. If someone screwed you over like he did to SO many would you gift them one million dollars?

    He may well be the best player in the games history, but he will NEVER win it. Not with the existing structures anyway. And its not as though they can be changed.

    Yes, I would. I would always vote for the best player, because thats what you're supposed to do. Not be gifted a million dollars for being better mates then your opponent. It's a ****ing game dude, not a popularity contest. This is the point people always forget.

    yes i know its a game. But i wouldnt give a million dollars to my worst enemy. The fact is he beat them, they are sore about it, they dislike him because he was the reason so many left.

    You say you would give it to him. Fine cool. But its human nature not to do so. He cant and wont ever win.

    i would argue the show is clearly a popularity contest. Anything where people have to vote for someone else is a popularity contest.
