Probably why they haven't been back to Australia, that season was fucking brutal haha. I remember there being a massive bushfire too that nearly took over their camp.

was a gun season though, would be sick if they did another season here i reckon. doubt they will though, they've been frothing on the tropical setup since like marquesas?

Another thing I enjoyed about watching Survivor Australia again recently was the differences in challenges. I kind of miss the old school challenges they had - one was more fear-based (jumping off a cliff into water) and one at the start was like searching for hidden things throughout a river from what I recall. Seems like these days the setup for all immunity/reward challenges are pretty much identical to ones used in seasons past - so challenges involving any of the following: a blindfold maze, throwing objects at targets, catching competitions, wrestling matches and giant staircase challenge will all be coming up soon I guess.

Also miss some of the pure endurance challenges, as opposed to ones where it's more balance based which they seem to use these days. Must be a bore to host/film though.

yeah agree completely, in some way time has improved the quality of challenges but also become worse in ways too.

The endurance challenges were the best. Who was it that flashed during one of those for the peanut butter and chocolate? Think it was during Australia.

How they can be so incompetent in challenges is retarded.

however, loved the conversation about how chickens reproduce by the beauty tribe.

I needed a good laugh at that point

Now with the knowledge of the merge happening immediately after that last tribal council, I definitely think the girls made the wrong decision. J'Tia was definitely one they could take to the end if they managed to make it to the single tribe merge after with her as I can't see her getting along that well with anybody else in the game (nor would she have gotten any F3 votes at all). I presume they will split into 2 tribes for now though so could be quite an interesting game, now is definitely the time for Spencer to make his move and get into a guys alliance.

agree about in retrospect keeping j'tia would've been better startegically but i hate players like her (think they're smart af when they aren't/shit in challenges/shit in general camp life/does something as dumb as burn 95% of rice) and i don't mind spencer so much, interested to see how he goes. hoping he gets into a much better alliance then with those 2 pretty shit girls.

  14. Roaddogg AJ Izett

I think spencer would stay with them, he needs them after all, he owes them his life in the game after all (assuming they even all get put on the same tribe, what are the odds of that even happening- probs pretty high knowing survivors knack for manufacturing drama)

fmd can they try think of some new challenges, the reward challenge was used like 7 years ago on cook islands (season 13) originally and the immunity challenge was originally on china (season 15)

  16. Jimmy J Read

shame cliff went imo, i think he would've went well in the second half of the game.

I actually think Tony made the correct decision, although it's hard to judge for sure without knowing more of the game dynamics and ultimately it wasn't a massive call as to which way he went.

If he stuck around in the other alliance, he would have certainly been the 4th or 5th member leaving him to get voted out most likely either 3rd or 4th after Trish (in his tribe) if the initial two beauty people were voted out. As it is now, he still has two more people to vote out if he sticks with this new alliance so he ensures that he is going to be voted out at worst 4th in this tribe. From his perspective, this isn't a terrible outlook at all as they are a decent chance to make the merge before it even gets to this stage.

Similar logic is probably why Trish flipped, she would have known she was on the bottom of the brawns alliance and as she didn't really get along with most of them anyway so it's a no-brainer for her to do something like this to extend her life in this tribe. Pretty average awareness from Cliff and co to not try to prevent this happening a bit more.

yeah do agree with that last point. oh well, who's everyone's favourites so far?

    Morgan obv

yeah morgan easily but I think it was an average decision by Tony. the two beauties will obviously go back to the other beauties if they all make it to the merge. It was a bit early for that move imo
