    Why replace them then? It doesnt matter about the size of the geographical region its to do with the quality of players from that region and if the lions beat your worst s15 team they deserve to come back in.

    I dont agree with the s15 at all id rather just have stand alone competitions in each country OR allow players to play for any s15 team and still be eligible for internationals.

    The point is that the Eastern Cape has great quality coming through. It all just gets snapped up by other teams because they can offer superrugby.

    Nah we could create a really strong 8 team comp and south africa could aswell whereas Australia couldnt.

    We dont need this comp which has so many teams who were never in contention to win the whole thing.
    Only 7/8 teams you coukd say have squads who could compete over a whole season to make the finals.
    So why not have an 8 team comp in each nation and then have the top 2 teams from each league go into a 6 man knockout with the best sa and best nz teams getting byes into the semis.

    I don't understand NZ rugby fans who hate on the Super 15 tbh. It's a great competition imo. Entertaining free flowing rugby played between the best players of the Southern hemisphere. What more could you ask for? The success of the All Blacks in recent years and the fact we hold the World Cup is testament to it's benefit to NZ rugby. Just enjoy it.
