    Decided to fold the Giants and start another team without even letting us know. Who the **** does that? If I knew he was going to **** off I would have at least tried to keep the club alive. Absolute joke. Eds isn't any better either - anything to get his team in. Worst sim. BBallSim > RUSim.

    Why shouldn't Eds be able to bring his own team in? a spot came available and he was the only one that wanted a team, apart from me; who wanted the Chiefs. Just join the Hurricanes and shut the **** up. :p

    He runs the sim, conflict of interest. I'm not saying he'd cheat - because I know he wouldn't, but if an incident arises like the Giants one this year for example the penalty wouldn't be so harsh I believe. Maybe he should have just given you the Chiefs - I would have joined ftr.

    CCG though - absolute selfish ****.

    This. Not going near the thing. I can't even think of one team I want to go to.

    Personally I'm disappointed in CCG - he could of at least told us in the subbie that the Giants were going to fold (FTR the Giants' subbie has been silent for the last 12 hours...) - but his posts at the start of this thread insisting that the Giants weren't going to be dropped when he knew for a fact that they were was just pathetic IMO since it moved from "poor communication" to "deceit".

    As for Eds and the Canes - while I don't dispute his right to run a team himself, publicly it still smacks of Conflict of Interest and, knowing the people here, any time the Canes win he will be bombarded by accusations of cheating.

    IMO the thing that I have a problem about most here is how quickly it was all done.

    Ironic since people kept arguing over things happening to slow around here :)

    But it's also like the whole farce of the Giants being fined etc for the Contracts stuff ups - rather than being dealt with properly it was rushed through.

    I think Eds could see my point when I highlighted to him what the reaction would be if he made a small simming error (e.g. entering a slightly incorrect team sheet) in a game involving his team.

    Considering the massive overreaction when he made errors which didn't involve his team, I'd think he shouldn't run the Canes for the sake of his own sanity. Now, if someone else agreed to take over running the Canes with Eds taking a selection role or some such, I don't have a problem with that.

    Yeah, I'm the same. I know with the Giants a couple of times our subs were not used, and something like that in a Hurricanes game would be catastrophic.
