It's truly awful. Merrett has what? 7 goals in 14 games playing as the #1 target in Brisbane's forward line? Fucking lol
He's not much use to me now then, is he? I don't think I'm willing to give up one of my first 22 for a depth guy.
Reframe is spouting that shit because it came from me. CPL judges not on whether a player is in his team's 22 but how good he is in general. Clurey's the best key defender not currently playing AFL in my opinion and would be playing AFL for most teams. The only reason he's not is that Port have the best third tall in the afl in Jonas. Clurey's able to take tall smalls, third talls, resting rucks and KPFs and does it really well while also injecting some offensive into the side. Big rumours that he'll be traded to Collingwood at the end of the season for a 2nd and a 3rd. He's a gun.
From all accounts he hasn't exactly set the SANFL on fire, so I'm not cool on the deal, not even if you have this inflated view of him based on an admittedly good preseason. Not worth the offer.
He gets pretty good reviews for his SANFL work: http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/Ratings/Player/117154/Tom-CLUREY
May just be one of those anomalies that never seem to get picked, like Tom Mitchell. link: http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/2014-05-19/mitchells-64touch-record-syd
Where'd you hear that? I was baffled when he didn't get a game tbh. Just wait and see, give it a year or two and he'll be relevant.
Just putting my team together for the first pre season game and I am in desperate need of a forward/2nd ruckman. Willing to put up Jeremy Cameron or Travis Cloke (want to keep Sam Reid due to his flexibility) but will obviously need to get some quality back in return.
I think I only have David Hale and Shaun Hampson who might fit the bill and I could trade, and I doubt they're what you're looking for in a deal.
