Season 2: Possible New Feature

I have decided to try and add something to Soccersim for season 2. That thing is training. The reason for wanting to add this is that because I cant use post counts or ranks there is no way for a player to effect how good their player is.

How would it work?

Well I am not 100% on that yet. I can either do the team selects or the player. Intially I thought the team but I want to reward the people that take an interest in Soccersim too. This could be done by making people post what they want each round and if they dont look at the soccersim subforum, then tough they lose out.

Anyway I thought I would see if people thought training was something that would improve this sim or not?

 

There would be a set improvement for each training session. I dont see why I would need a formula?

I think SoccerSim posts should be counted towards this is some way. To reward those, like you said, who are active. Get someone to sort it..

If RL and RU Sim(s) get it added, so should SoccerSim IMO.

 

I did ask if I could have them but was just shot down.

If you explain that it will go towards training then I think he should oblige.

 

At the start. TBH I would still consider doing training even we got post counts but it would definitely be team training then.

I have a feeling that the post count thing isnt too easy to set up but hopefully we can get it going.

 

Did you speak to Rob about it again? About needing it to implement with training?...
