On a serious note though, I don't see a point in it. There's still a shit load of unpicked players and none of these blokes that aren't on AFL lists will be any good.
I decided my time would be far better spent updating the database and adding in all the missing players/draftees to save me time later. Was a far better option.
Losing 4 players kinda sucks. At least 2 of them were blokes I'd have been unlikely to play but gonna have to find some new midfielders to replace sloane and ebert. Losing the gut run
Gonna do injuries now - Harps/Heef use the ones from last update for your sides, ignore the ones I'm about to post. Those whose threads I'm putting up though feel free to use them to name your sides.
When we do the next draft is it based off of standings? Is your aim to try and make the teams at the bottom better (normal draft) Or punish those who selected poorly first time round (snake draft)
Haha yeah. It's a shit situation to be in because if the good get better then all that'll happen is the shit teams will lose interest over time and then coaches will drop off and no new bloke will want to take over a shit side. So unfortunately the good teams just have to cop it, really. Especially with retentions the difference between picks 1,21,41,61,81 etc. and 20,40,60,80,100 etc. is fuck all anyway. And it's blokes like me it'll disadvantage the most anyway
That works out decently for me. Really rate the selections I'll retain as good building blocks, just need to avoid shockers and get a couple of decent backs
